Allahabad has established the Mahila Vidyalaya namely
MAHAVEER SUMITRA MIHILA MAHAVIDYALAYA, at Bazaha Mishran, Saidabad, Allahabad
offering
Post Gradute Courses for Women. Shri Mahaveer Charitable Trust members are actively involved in
running prominent Higher Technical & medical Education Institutes. The Vidyalaya
has campus of 10 acres of land and is situated 15 Kms from the city. The main
objective of the Trust is to foster quality technical and higher education,
research and training in rural areas in various branches of science and
technology and simultaneously inculcate among the women a sense of knowledge
so
that they can be moulded into competent and talented human beings.

Although stress is put on improving the standards of education, yet it is
not that the other aspects of campus life are neglected. In fact Mahaveer Sumitra Mahila Mahavidyalaya tries to inculcate the spirit of involvement
with the community at large, serving people and enhancing their educational
experience beyond campus, thereby increasing their social consciousness on
charitable basis.
The College is located at Saidabad at a distance of about 15 km from
Allahabad on the Allahabad – Varanasi National Highway. It can be easily reached
from Allahabad by bus proceeding to Varanasi & local bus services.
